In The Mix.
This animation was part of a contest I entered to win a free course from School of Motion. I was provided the stye frames, music and brief. The job was to create a 10-15 second spot for a new music steaming service. The music was impactful but the shapes were not so, I need to make everything feel bigger than life.

The music remined of a military march. The shapes have become our soldiers and I needed them to be a unit. I knew that the best way to achieve was by animating them using hold frames. Using hold frames gave me the marching effect I was looking for and really gave the happy colored shapes more attitude.
